This event is the first of the series "DevOps Essentials". It involves an introduction to Google Cloud (lecture and practical workshop), where participants will explore the basic principles of Google Cloud and improve their programming skills. Moreover, there will be an interactive lecture, where key concepts about the role of a Sys Admin and a DevOps Engineer will be presented.

His current position is Teaching Laboratory Staff at the Dept. of Informatics & Telematics of Harokopio University.
He received his Bsc in Applied Informatics from the University of Macedonia in 2002, his MSc in Advanced Information Systems from the department of Informatics & Telecommunications of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2005. He has taught lessons like Operation Systems, Distributed Systems, System Analysis and Software Technology at the Department of Informatics & Telematics of Harokopio University.
His research interests lie in the areas of Modeling & Simulation of Systems, Distributed Systems and Enterprise Information Systems Engineering. He has 25 publications in international conference proceedings and Journals. He has participated in R&D projects founded by the European Union and the Greek State.
