ANDROID COMPOSE CAMP – GDSC GTBIT

The Google Development Student Club of GTBIT is back with the third session of the series “ANDROID COMPOSE CAMP”.

The session will be held on 23rd September 2022 in the GTBIT auditorium and will start by 11am.

The topic for the event would be “Hands on with Jetpack Compose”.

The speaker of this event is Nitin Prakash who is into android with industry level experience and is currently working with Trell as SDE III in Android. He is also a Google Developer Expert and has tons of experience in the world of Android Development.

In this offline event we shall introduce the class to Jetpack Compose. It is Android's modern toolkit for building native UI and can help app developers build apps in a far more dynamic, complex and polished way. The applications written using Jetpack Compose uses 100% of Kotlin programming language. Tons of Corporations from Airbnb, Twitter to Pinterest and Delta Airlines uses Jetpack Compose to write a simplified and a faster code.

The speaker will be discussing about the basics of this UI tool so that one can make their Android apps more responsive in a less amount of time.
