We continue our event series "Voices of STEM Women" by having an open dialog with Xiao Jean (XJ) Chen. XJ is the founder of VenturePole, an AI-powered venture investment platform in Switzerland. She is also the winner of the FemBizSwiss Award, ambassador of Google Women Techmakers, juror of the Digital Entrepreneurship Competition of the University of Zurich, mentor at the health tech accelerator of Startupbootcamp, researcher in organizational studies, avid hackathon goer, angel investor, and ex-consultant in Hong Kong. On this event, XJ is going to address how artificial intelligence is transforming venture capital, an industry that has seen little innovation since its inception in the 1940's. XJ will also delve into why she believes that the future of venture capital is female, as well as how technology can help end gender injustice in venture capital. The event series "Voices of STEM Women" is held in collaboration with four STEM women associations, namely LIMES, CSNOW, Phimale and Women Techmakers Switzerland. The aim of these events is to give the younger audience the chance to be inspired by female role models. For this reason, we invite STEM women who have successfully achieved something exceptional in their lives to talk about a chosen topic in their fields of specialty and about challenges on their way to professional growth.
