Intelligent Story Technology at DisneyResearch|Studios

We all love movies because they dive into their own world and tell an entire story. But could you summarize the content of a movie with just a single graphic?DisneyResearch|Studios has taken on this challenge!

This virtual event will introduce DisneyResearch|Studios and present their experimental work in intelligent story technology. They developed research prototypes to author, visualize and interact with stories. Their work explores novel approaches to acquire, formalize and intelligently interact with story data.

This talk will highlight two applications of DisneyResearch|Studios story technology. The first application enables the visual analysis of script-based stories, including the visualization of non-linearity in the telling of a story. The second application is the interactive creation and exploration of stories within virtual 3D story worlds.

Students from ETH Zurich, UZH and EPFL are invited to join the session. Opportunities for student projects at ETH Zurich will also be introduced.

For the application, two things are required:
