Introduction to github actions, a live presentation of what Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployement is and why you should use it, as well as a pratical to learn how to automate your development process.

About this event

Did you ever fail to deliver a working project due to a human error like a typo, failing to respect the coding style or having failing test ?

With this event we will go over how to automate your software workflows and streamline your development process to reduce the chances of human errors, you will be using github actions to automate everything from building your project, checking the security, testing and deploying your applications.

After the presentation, there will be a demonstration of an example CI/CD to build a React web application and deploying it in AWS Cloud.

You will then be tasked to build, check, test and deploy a python application / package to PyPi.

Make sure to bring your computers!
