Short introduction to Venture Capital by S2S Ventures, followed by a hands-on workshop organised by Serpentine Ventures where students get to do a case study on a start-up and decide whether to invest in them.

About this event

The workshop begins with a brief introduction into Venture Capital and a presentation of Serpentine Ventures, S2S and the EPFL Developers Club. We will then dive into an interactive case study by assessing a startup through the eyes of a VC. For the assessment, Serpentine will present a framework which covers most important aspects to consider when evaluating a startup. The investment managers will go through the case together with the workshop participants and will provide their insights from a VC perspective. After the case study, the participants will receive the opportunity to ask questions during a Q&A session, followed by an informal apero and networking.
