Contestants are people who were kidnapped by a group of criminals. They will be locked in a building together. It's their job to figure out a way to seek help and form a list of potential suspects by going through a series of elaborate and various challenges. Do they have what it takes to escape the hack?

About this event

Contestants are people who were kidnapped by a group of criminals.

They will be locked in a building together. They will go through several challenges such as capture the flag to get a hold of an encrypted dataset that holds information regarding recently released convicts. Then, they will have to implement a machine learning model which will help them filter out a final list of potential suspects. Afterwards, they move to troubleshooting a Kubernetes cluster hosted on Google Cloud Platform in order to gain access to a web application. Finally, players get access to a famous web page like Google's search engine where they will try to find a hidden button somewhere. Once they click on said button, it will automatically download its source code. Their task is to modify that web page in order to provide information regarding their whereabouts and the identity of the kidnappers. They must conceal the information as hidden as possible.
