Earlham College will be hosting the very first GDSC session of the year. We will be inviting Daniel Fiorillo the lead of GDSC program to our kick off session to welcome our club members, and to have a brief introduction into what this club is about. We will also be sharing our mission statement as a club, and introducing our tentative schedule of what exciting events are coming up this year.

This Kick-off event is to welcome our first ever GDSC club members here at Earlham College. Daniel Fiorillo, the community manager for GDSC in the Northern American region will be inputting information regarding what it means to be a member of this club, and how it is going to look like for us in the coming year. This session will be broken down into the following subsections:

- Welcome speech from the GDSC lead of Earlham College

- Introduction about the club from Daniel Fiorillo

- Introduction of to our core members, and description of mission statement

- Showing some available resources and sharing our tentative schedule including Solution Challenge

By the end of this session the club members will know what to expect from this club, including what we will learn and what events will be coming up soon in the next few months.
