AN INTRODUCTION TO IoT USING RUNLINC

BLH1 Electrical Engineering Dept.,, Faculty of Engineering, Delsu, Oleh, 334101

The internet of things, or IoT, is a system of interrelated computing devices, mechanical and digital machines, objects, animals or people that are provided with unique identifiers (UIDs) and the ability to transfer data over a network without requiring human-to-human or human-to-computer interaction. All this will be done with just 5 lines of code using runlinc

About this event

Runlinc is a web page stored inside a wifi chip. It is a RAPID DEVELOPMENT platform for IoT, AI and the STEM inventions. The programming is done inside the web browsers instead of doing it in the computer.The two main functions performed by the runlinc webpage inside the wifi chip are:

a. Predict b. Command

Runlinc can;

a. runlinc can predict when a turbine that makes electricity for an oil refinery will explode or catch fire or maintenance. runlinc web page inside the wifi chip will command the microchips to do SENSING, CONTROL, DATA LOGGING, the Internet of Things (IoT). runlinc will command the microchips to sense the temperatures, velocity and vibration of the turbine. If these parameters are outside the SET POINTS runlinc will command the microchips to reduce the velocity of the turbine to reduce the vibration and to cool down the turbine. The real time data recorded or logged of the temperatures, velocity and vibration are sent through the Internet of Things (IoT) to the turbine makers in Germany or France or USA for assessment or to improve the turbine design.

b. Medicine: runlinc can be developed to predict whether a patient has diabetes by comparing photos of eye retina of people who have diabetes and people who do not have diabetes (Deep Learning). There are approx 2 billion web pages in the internet.

c. runlinc can be developed to predict whether customers will default on their bank loans. (Machine Learning)
