DSC-DTU is excited to announce that the Gtech week, in association with the Training and Placement Department, is back for another edition!

Kicking off on the 5th of March, join us in our workshops conducted by DSC-DTU team members on Android Development, Machine learning and Web Development.

Explore the your field(s) of interest and develop your skills in these popular and high in demand technologies!

The Timeline for the workshops is as follows:

Friday, 5th March 2021 - Android Development

The Android team has divided their sessions into 3 segments:

1. Introduction to Android Dev using Java/Kotlin, including the basics of XML and UI design

2. Introduction to flutter and creating a basic application using flutter

3. Advanced Android and an intro to Dependency Injection.

Saturday, 6th March 2021 - Machine Learning

The Machine Learning team will be covering the following topics in their session:

1. An introduction to Machine Learning (ML)

2. Numpy Indexing, CNN & Object Detection

3. An interactive sessions with the Seniors of the ML Wing.

Sunday, 7th March 2021 - Web Development

The web development team will be conducting an introduction to WebDev session, with an emphasis on front-end development. The following aspects will be covered:

1. HTML & CSS

2. FlexboX & Media Queries

3. Basic Git commands & creating a portfolio site

The workshops will be conducted over Zoom, with certificates for the attendees!
