Talk Title: Journey in Launching a Startup in the Philippines  Kass is the co-founder and CEO of Workbean, the country's first and only company culture search platform. In her early sales career, she joined Cisco's award-winning sales associate program in Singapore where she was chosen as the country's only representative and continued to handle some of the biggest BPO and Shared Services accounts for the Philippines. At 26 years old, she became the youngest regional key account manager in LinkedIn Asia Pacific, managing some of the biggest accounts in the region from banks to telecommunication companies. She has won several sales and performance awards throughout her sales career and she's only getting started. After years of living overseas, she decided to come home and build Workbean in 2019, to champion the importance of helping companies and jobseekers align their values and purpose at work. She is doing this to challenge the decades-long transactional job board industry and help more people find work where they belong by humanizing job searching for the next billion digital talents.

Unisse Chua

De La Salle University

Unisse is currently an Assistant Professor of Computer Science from the College of Computer Studies at De La Salle University. She currently also serves as the center head for the Center for Complexity and Emerging Technologies (COMET). She finished her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science specializing in Software Technology and later acquired a Master of Science in Applied Urban Science and Informatics from New York University’s Center for Urban Science and Progress (CUSP). Her research interests in data science focus more on developing interactive visualization to allow everyone and anyone to explore. In line with this, she is also passionate about making data more open and accessible to develop civic solutions that lead to better citizen engagement.
