For this year's iteration of the annual InfoSession will feature other GDSC chapter leads, namely Denise Ashley Ko, Armielyn Obinguar, and Gian Boyero, who will share their personal experiences within their chapters as well as their events that their chapter has partaken with. Not only that, but fun and exciting plans for this year will also be discussed in the duration of this event. Who knows? Maybe there will be prizes that will be given away at this event!

Armielyn is a 3rd year Physics student and a GDSC Lead at Polytechnic University of the Philippines who is currently working as Product Manager at Omdena and Data Scientist at Accenture. She works closely with several international Non-Governmental Organization (UNICEF) and startup companies in using AI in solving various problems. She’s passionate in democratizing data skills to students and a Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Champion for She Leads and She Inspires.
As a product designer, she works in UX/UI, no-code development, branding, and illustration. She is passionate about design education, user-centric technology, and community building.
She is the Founder and Designer at The Arts of Ashley, a one-woman design studio, the GDSC Lead at Google Developer Student Clubs-Loyola, a student organization passionate about uplifting communities through technology, and the Vice President for UX Design in User Experience Society, a student organization advocating for human-centered design.
From ideation to launch, she has experience conducting thoughtful user research, crafting effective designs and brands, and developing digital products with no-code for startups, e-commerce, and fintech.
She also worked on UX University 2022, a month-long UX case competition, and gave talks on getting started with UX/UI and leveling up careers in digital product design and development.
If she is not working, she likes to obsess over fonts and mechanical keyboards and even tend to her farm in Stardew Valley.
Gian Aibo C. Boyero '20 was born in Bacolod City, and is the CEO and Lead of Google Developer Student Clubs - University of St. La Salle.
Gian Aibo believes that being a role model is a great opportunity for him to be able to enhance his skills since he will be trying to influence students through his actions.
Gian Aibo has been a student leader for 11 years and counting.
Gian Aibo is an awarded Most Outstanding Student in the Field of Visual Arts in Laurier de La Salle, an Elementary Valedictorian, a Junior High School completer with Highest Honors, and a Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics Graduate with Highest Honors.
Gisn Aibo also received awards like The Most Outstanding Student in Western Visayas, has been part of 20+ organizations, garnered 1st Place in the Research Colloquium in Liceo de La Salle, secured a slot and an official candidate of ASEAN Opinion Poster Making Contest and has been recently a Finalist for the Corps' d Elite Most Outstanding Student in the Field of Visual Arts.
Gian Aibo holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of St. La Salle.
