About this event

Node.js is the main tool that allows you to create back-end services using JavaScript, which means that you can use just one language to create the whole application. Node plays a major role in such popular programming stacks as MERN, MEAN, MEVN, FERN (Mongo/Firebase, Express, React/Angular/Vue, Node.js).

This workshop will focus on some Node.js basics. We'll cover some concepts and history first, and then start building a simple web API. We will cover some native Node.js functionaliy as well as some must-know packages like axios and express.

Yes, there's prizes! If you will stick around till the end of the workshop we will run a raffle for a chance to win a 25$ Amazon gift card
