Firebase is a Backend as a Service solution for you to use with your favourite frontend to speed up development. First we’ll take a look at what Firebase is and cover some basic concepts that will help us get started. Firebase has a lot of different components that help you with different parts of your app, so we’ll discuss the most important ones that will get you started. We’ll start off with connecting our Firebase project to Flutter and ASP.NET clients. We will use Firebase Authentication to implement a simple user system to access a protected page. After that we’ll see how to use Firestore as a database to get a list of records on the page.
