Object-oriented programming is a paradigm for computer programming that is founded on the idea that individual "objects" can hold both data and program instructions. The code is structured in the form of processes, and the data are presented in the form of fields. The code is broken up into a number of smaller programs that are easier to manage and can be reused if you use object-oriented programming. Every one of the individual little programs has its own identity, data, and logic, as well as a plan for how it will communicate with the other individual small programs.
