This workshop is for students who are interested in learning about Git, GitHub, and open source. Abdullah Malik, a seasoned backend developer and the Backend Development Team Lead for GDSC Comsats Attock, will be leading this interactive workshop, where you will learn about the basics of these topics, including:

  • What is Git and how does it work?
  • What is GitHub and how do I use it to collaborate on projects?
  • What is open source and why is it important?
  • How to get started with contributing to open source projects?

You will also have the opportunity to work on hands-on exercises and get feedback from Abdullah and other participants. This is a great opportunity to learn about the essential tools and skills for contributing to open source projects. All students are welcome to attend, regardless of their skill level. 👩‍💻👨‍💻
