Introduction to Robotics introduces students to the fundamental principles, prerequisites and concepts of robotics. This study jam is designed to provide an overview of robotics, including the history, development, and current state of the field. The class covers topics such as robot design, programming, sensors, actuators, and control systems.
Throughout all the study jams, students will learn about the different types of robots, their applications, and their impact on society. They will also gain hands-on experience in building and programming robots, which will involve working with various software and hardware tools.
By the end of study jams, students will have a solid understanding of the basics of robotics and they will have developed the skills necessary to design, build, and program simple robots. They will also have a better appreciation for the role that robotics plays in our daily lives, and the potential for robotics to solve real-world problems.
