Join the Google Developer Student Clubs at Brunel University & a London based AR Games Development Company, Project AR for a weekend long event where we dive into the Metaverse!

About this event

Join us this weekend to learn more about the most talked technologies this year - AR/VR and the Metaverse!

We will be joined by the team at Project AR, a London based AR gaming start up. Project AR uses Augmented Reality to create a parallel dimension where gaming and customer acquisition merge to deliver sensational experiences for our users.

Their vision is to cover cities with a layer of immersive experiences which will augment local venues and sites.

With ‘The Jack’, their new AR location-based mobile game, players will be rewarded with perks at local venues and business owners will join the next level of gamified promotion.

Later, we will also hear from Gautam Murgai, who is an XR Project Manager at Talkout. As a Business & Management student who is now deep into the Metaverse, he will highlight how people with a non technical background can also be a part of this emerging space.

This event is open to complete beginners with no prior experience in coding.

The event will be run in person as well as virtually. A link to attend the event virtually will be sent out closer to the event date.
