It's that time of year! Google has officially launched the 2021 Solution Challenge and there's a lot of stuff to get up to speed with.

In this information session, we will give you everything you need to know about the Solution Challenge and how we are going to help you prepare to have the best chances of winning! 

The Google Developer Student Clubs Solution Challenge (the “Contest”) is a skill contest where participants must develop a solution for a that solves a problem in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals using one or more Google products or platforms and submit a video to YouTube that demonstrates how the solution can be utilized by a user. The solution that you develop and video (from here on called the “Entry” will be evaluated by judges, who will choose the winner(s) in accordance with these Official Rules. The prize(s) will be awarded to the participant(s) with the highest score for the judging criteria.

What is the Solution Challenge?

It is a global annual challenge that involves all GDSCs (Google Developer Student Clubs). The objective is to invite students to create and develop a solution to a problem in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, using one or more Google technologies.
