TedxBabcockU 2023, refers to the official name on which the technological, entertainment, design (TED) event in Babcock university will run. The TedxBabcockU 2023 will be the first Tedx program organized in the school community, with the end goal of bringing together the members of the school community with the primary target being students, to promote, encourage, facilitate positive thinking and sharing of ideas and knowledge from field professionals to the student community.
TedxBabcockU aims to enable the community connect with other leaders and experts in various fields, by creating a diverse platform which would facilitate this TedxBabcockU vision, is in full accordance with the official theme “THINK”, which means that by the end of the event, the team hopes that it would have been successful in creating and enabling a school environment with members who are willing to Think outside the box when creating viable solutions to various problems in the society, Nigeria and the world alike.

Tunde Onakoya is the convener of Chess in slums Africa which is a non-profit organization that uses the game of chess as a framework to give children in impoverished communities access to education, technology and mentorship.
