About this event

👨‍💻👩‍💻👨‍💻👩‍💻Ever wanted to learn how to build Android Apps? Well, now’s your chance!
The "DSC Android Study Jams: Android Workshop" is a 2-day event focused on introducing to student programmers and alike the basics of Android Programming.  This event is in collaboration with the DSC Blue Eagle and the DSC Crimsons. Be prepared to learn and have fun while earning prizes by creating your very own Android Apps!

Agenda

Admitting of Participants	The event MEET link will be opened 30 minutes before the official time for the admission of participants.
Preliminaries	We will be doing a prayer followed by the National Anthem and the Zamboanga Hymn.
Opening Spiel/Photo Opportunity	We will be introducing the host for the 1st day of the event also we will be taking a virtual group photo with all of you!
Welcoming Remarks	The Welcoming Remarks will be delivered by the GDSC Lead of the DSC Blue Eagles of the Ateneo de Zamboanga University, Mr. Neil Miro.
Ice Breaker	Before the first speaker of the Session, we will be having a short activity just to break the ice and get to know you better.
Introduction to Android Development with Kotlin	The first topic, will be teaching you the preliminaries in Android Programming using Kotlin. This will be delivered by the GDSC Blue Eagles Moderator, Mrs. Fe Grace A. Tubog-Cañedo.
Raffle #1	Will be giving away a raffle draw to 3 chosen participants during the event. Note that you have to be in the MEET room and say the "chosen" word to claim your prize.
Kotlin Basics	The first topic, will be teaching you the Basics in Android Programming using Kotlin. This will be delivered by the Philippine Android Developers Community Lead, Sir Mac Valmores.
Raffle #2	The 2nd raffle draw of the whole event. There will be more to come on the 2nd Session. Just like the first raffle, you have to be in present during the session and say the "Chosen" word.
Closing Remarks	The Closing Remarks will be delivered by the GDSC Lead of the DSC Blue Eagles of the Ateneo de Zamboanga University, Mr. Neil Miro.
Closing Spiel/Reminders	The end of the first session. There is one more day to go for the first ever Android Study Jams in Zamboanga. Don't forget to comeback for the 2nd day!
