After the introductory session in Manekshaw Hall, we will release a sample proposal of how we expect students to apply for the event. The proposal most convincing to us will be selected for the project building round. We will select 15 proposals (3 proposals per project).
Event name: GDSC-AIT Solution Challenge x Google Summer of Code
In the application that we will release, the applicant must resolve/implement a feature. Three main aspects will be separated into each application. A single feature can only have one applicant. He'll put together a proposal for that specific feature. In essence, there will be 15 features to implement, which means that 15 students must be chosen.
We will release 3 problem statements/applications to work on this event:
Web-based application
Android app/ flutter
AI/ML
Open innovation Track 1
Open innovation Track 2
The 15 students who will work with us will be announced on February 22nd. They will receive mentorship for the entire month to work on the application, as well as a stipend when the project or feature they requested is finished.
February 25 to March 20 will be the project building period. After the projects are finished, we will pay the appropriate students their stipends and submit their projects on behalf of DSC-AIT to the Google Solution Challenge event.
