GSDC Machine Learning Session: Linear Regression and Decision Trees

Machine learning is a rapidly growing field with a wide range of applications. In this session, we will introduce two of the most fundamental machine learning algorithms: linear regression and decision trees.

Linear regression is a statistical method that is used to model the relationship between two or more variables. It is used to predict a continuous target variable based on one or more independent variables.

Decision trees are a type of machine learning algorithm that is used to make predictions based on a set of rules or decisions. They are a popular choice for classification and regression tasks.
