Android Study Jams: Prior Programming Experience 3

We've built around 10 Android Applications until now and each one progressed in complexity. But there's still one thing left to tackle: Storing data. Chat apps, health apps, educational apps, all store data specific to a user that is retained each time a user opens the app. How is that done? This session introduces you to Databases and extends the concepts of RecyclerView, covered in Track 1.

About this event

From static apps to interactive apps. From interactive apps to aesthetic apps. And from aesthetic apps to slightly complex apps. We've done it all over the past couple of weeks in this program. Now it's time to switch things up and add another layer of complexity. The third session of Track 2 looks at local storage in Android Apps in the form of ROOM Databases as well as extending concepts of RecyclerView, LiveData, Buttons and Layouts to bring in a lot of interesting and extra functionality.

See you at the session and let's Jam out!
