On October 30th-31st, 2023, GDSC AUM held its first national-level cybersecurity event, SIDR Solutions AUMCTF '23. Organized by the ASET Department of Computer Science and Engineering, the online event attracted 167 students eager to tackle real-world cybersecurity challenges.

With participants from diverse academic backgrounds, the event saw enthusiastic engagement, reflected by the 160 registrations. Teams grappled with various objectives, from identifying vulnerabilities and solving puzzles to securing systems and honing their cybersecurity skills. Points were awarded based on successful challenge completion, prioritizing first-place finishes in the case of ties, and graded according to challenge severity.

Positive feedback resonated across India, underscoring the institution's commitment to remaining at the forefront of cybersecurity trends. AUMCTF '23 marked a significant milestone in the university's journey, ushering in a new era of cybersecurity education.
