In this workshop, the GDSC of AUM invites participants to delve into the exciting world of machine learning, guiding them through the entire process of constructing a machine learning model. Attendees will explore key aspects of machine learning, including data collection and preprocessing, model creation, training, testing, and drawing meaningful conclusions from the results. By the end of this immersive experience, participants will have gained a comprehensive understanding of building a machine learning model from the ground up and will have had the opportunity to put their newly acquired skills to the test by creating their own model.
Please bring your laptops (Windows or Mac) with you in order to work on projects and for your own future work!
Topics to be discussed:
Collecting and preprocessing data
Creating a machine learning model with Python and libraries like sci-kit-learn
Training and testing the model
Evaluating model performance
Drawing conclusions from the results
Applying machine learning knowledge to future projects or further study
