The 2nd workshop in the Introduction to Machine Learning Series with GDSC AUS and IEEE AUS! Make sure to attend all the workshops to get a certificate signed by GDSC and IEEE AUS!

About this event

This workshop focuses on the algorithms: Decision Trees and Random Forests for classification.

We begin with an introduction to the idea and basic theory of the algorithms by Dr Salam Dhou from the CSE department.

Next, we work through a case study with a dataset to analyse the data and then apply both the algorithms discussed, and then compare the final results obtained, lead by Rohan Mitra, Senior Computer Science and Mathematics student at AUS.
