Seminar about Physics-Informed Machine Learning

Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna
Mon, Nov 15, 2021, 6:30 PM (CET)

About this event

Physics-informed machine learning integrates seamlessly data and mathematical physics models, even in partially understood, uncertain and high-dimensional contexts. Kernel-based or neural network-based regression methods offer effective, simple and meshless implementations.

What? Don't worry, Andrea Panizza (Senior AI Specialist at Baker Hughes) will explain in detail what Physics-Informed Machine Learning (PIML) is about.

Prerequisites to understand the seminar:

  • Fundations of Calculus
  • Knowledge of what is an artificial neural network
