GDSC-AMU x MLH brings to you, How to Collaborate with GitHub. A complete hands-on workshop where you'll learn to use best practices while using Git and GitHub to collaborate on open-source projects. We'll give participants their first introduction to GitHub — or a really awesome refresher!

🔊 Some Important Prerequisites:
This event will be live on Google Meet and can be completed entirely in the browser. No background knowledge is necessary! Make sure you have installed and configured Git locally and you have a GitHub account setup as well.
System Requirements: Google Chrome is the preferred browser for this workshop.

Configure Git: This involves running just two commands in sequence when you open the Git terminal anywhere on your PC.
1. git config --global user.name YOUR-GITHUB-USERNAME
2. git config --global user.email YOUR-GITHUB-EMAIL
