The Carleton University, Algonquin College, and Northeastern Illinois University GDSCs are hosting GDSC North Hacks, a mini-hackathon on January 28th and 29th at Carleton University. This two-day event is open to all development skill levels and features workshops on android development tools such as Flutter and Firebase. These workshops will be delivered by specialist Google Developer Experts and is the perfect opportunity to gain new skills and improve your development skills.

Participants will work in teams to build an android/iOS application over 24 hours, based on specifications that will be announced closer to the hackathon date. Prizes and recognition will be awarded for the best projects. The event is completely free to attend, with Google swag, food, and refreshments provided for all participants.
