How Open Source can help students get a good grasp on their skills and help enhance the community by contributing more and more to the Open Source Community. The session also hold an introduction to the currently running Hacktober Fest to promote Open Source.

Open Source have been in the tech industry for long. All the Open Source libraries have hundreds of contributors who handle them and give opportunities for budding developers to give their contribution in the library. Hacktober Fest was organized by Digital Ocean with the same thought in their mind. This events promotes the Open Source by giving out Free T-shirts for a specific amount of PRs. Our Student Chapter is organizing a session with an experienced developer who could give us insight into this wide world of Open Source and how one could be a part of it.
