Hands-On Machine Learning

A hands-on workshop on machine learning. The aim is to understand how Machine Learning problems are solved in the real world. The workshop will include programming in Jupyter Notebook along with the explanation of underlying mathematics wherever required. No prior programming experience is required.

Mathematicaphiles or not, everyone can learn concepts of Machine Learning. The Programming Club is here with yet another Hands-On Machine Learning Session. πŸ₯³πŸ“’

Topics like logistic regression and basics of Decision Tree would be covered during this session. Haven't heard of these things yet? Don't worry we would be including a hands-on implementation of topics such as data preprocessing and wrangling to make things clearer.πŸ€—πŸ–₯️

To add a cherry on the top we would be conducting a Q and A session in the beginning to solve any of your doubts regarding anything - Research, SDE, ML, higher studies and more!.πŸ“

Workshop details:

  • The session will be mostly applied with the speaker using Jupyter Notebook along with the participants.
  • Wherever required, the underlying mathematics will be explained. It will be emphasized more for beginner topics like regression.
  • Questions will be taken from the students during and after the session.

Expected Outcomes: -

  • Better appreciation of Machine Learning from an applied as well as a theoretical perspective.
  • Expert insights on how to use the Machine Learning libraries and how to avoid common pitfalls.
  • Big picture understanding of key ideas of Machine Learning.
