Android Study Jams - Sessions 2 and 3

About this event

Android Study Jams are community organised study groups for people to learn how to build Android apps using the curriculum provided by Google.

The programme is divided into two tracks :

New to Programming Track - for people who are new to programming, follows the Android Basics in Kotlin course. First year students can also comfortably participate.

Prior Programming Experience Track - for people who already have programming experience, follows the Android Kotlin Fundamentals course. Also includes a pre-work section using Kotlin Koans from JetBrains for those who are new to Kotlin.

  • Certificate of Completion signed by our facilitator after completion of Prior Programming Experience Track.

We, DSC Ahmedabad University in collaboration with Programming Club have arranged hands-on sessions for this program.


The sessions will include the following :

  • Creating and managing Layouts
  • Navigation and Fragments
  • Activity lifecycle and Logging
