In collaboration between MLSA 1337 and GDSC 1337, will delve into the intriguing domains of reverse engineering, binary exploitation, malware analysis, and game security showing the importance of each field, as well as introducing real world examples

About this event

This upcoming event will cover several security topics, including reverse engineering, binary exploitation, malware analysis, game security, and anti-cheat internals. Real-world examples will be used to demonstrate these concepts, and attendees will have the opportunity to explore outdated systems using known published CVEs. Additionally, the talk will cover the use of Cheat Engine and explain how game memory can be read or written to, as well as how games can be protected against it. By the end of the event, attendees will have gained a comprehensive understanding of low-level (in)security and will be equipped with practical knowledge and tools for securing systems and software.
